First and 11 week 6

Vic can you post this to your site. I tried but had issues.
I guess by getting nominated, it means acceptance as well in FADUCO. So thanks to PJ’s nomination here is my first and ten contribution:

Team Logos and Names – Is there a Correlation to Fantasy Success?
The age old fantasy question has been; is it more about luck or skill? I favor the luck side of the argument and I think some of this luck may reside in the appropriate team logo or name. See “1st and 10” evidence below:

1. FSU Crabinoles – Owners in the past have tied their team name to their college team with success. My guess is that Matt is using this same strategy. He went to Florida State University (FSU) and when he was in MD he joined the FSU MD chapter who was called the “Crabinoles”. The good team name and logo has clearly brought him success.

2. “D+” Buffalo Wings - Changing the team logo to reflect Vic Guru’s draft grade puts his team in a permanent underdog position. Great strategy by Hai that is clearly working. After this year teams are going to be vying for bad draft grades.

3. Don’t Poke the Bear – Using a spirit animal form one of Vic’s safaris has been used before and this year it is bringing Justin success. It didn’t carry his team last year but then this was from the recent Alaska safari, so maybe the spirit animal is coming into its groove this year.

4. Ruthless – Tuna has remained consistent with “Ruthless” and logo of Mr. Burns. Hopefully this year the “mojo” of this team name and logo won’t peter out for him. There have already been signs this year that may occur (like the injury to Ben Roethlisberger).

5. Tall Asian – The name and logo “T” seem to be in synch, and they have brought Vu some success. But owners wonder whether Vu is really tall or maybe he is short and it’s a play on words, like “Little John”? Or maybe he is just tall for an Asian like 5’10”? This confusion may be limiting his success this year?

6. Sparkle Bunnies – PJ’s favorite psychedelic drug from college. Good name but not with the logo of his son. The lack of correlation between the logo and the name is hurting PJ’s luck and holding him back. He should look to make a change.

7. Playing 7 on 8 – The changing of the name has brought Vic success. Unsure, but it sounds like a gambling reference but whatever the meaning it has been working for him the past few weeks.

8. Honey Badgers – Another spirit animal from Vic’s previous safari, but clearly it has spent its luck in prior years. Will be changing after this week, even in the event of the win, since a win this week won’t constitute good luck after reading number 10 below.

9. POD – A picture of a hot chick with hip hop name. While this may have worked in the past for Donny, it is not working for him now.

10. Beau’ Chew Toys – A very sentimental name and logo. Nobody playing this team wants to win, and Lily is suffering from the poor luck from her opponents. As example in this week’s matchup, I’m hoping that I lose.

And 11…..
11. This one sent in from PJ, while alligators and snakes are a known dangers in Florida apparently aggressive horses are as well. This is close to home for PJ as his family as they were the victim of a horse going wild. Please send positive thoughts and encouragements to PJ and his family as they deal with this.

My team name is because ever since week 1, I have had at least one starter give me zero or one point each week.
