FADUCO rankings week 10

Sorry for missing last week's rankings, things got busy at work after Hurricane Sandy. That must have angered the fantasy gods, hence that freak storm called Doug Martin pounding 4 TDs and 250 yards on me. Of course, it had to be Katy who owns him. Who else has had so many flukey performances out of their players in a game (Britt, Jermichael Finley, Doug Martin come to mind), or a season (2010 Mike Vick). No real change in rankings. The list this week is going to be brief, but I promise to make it up to you all next week with a more extensive offering. I'm even performing field research for it.

1. Bill
Starting 3 WRs this week, which may be a warning sign he's not invincible. Also has a very tough last 5 games with 4 opponents with winning records and the fifth has the 4th most points in the league.

2. Kevin
Last 3 regular games are vs. Hai and Katy. If he beats Bill this week, winning the division is not out of the question with that pu-pu schedule.

3. Tuna
May be a bit vulnerable with Packers on bye, but GB has easy schedule rest of the way except for Bears game.

4. Lily
Steady team, only has dipped below 62 points once since week 2.

5. Donny
The luckiest team in the league matchup-wise so far. Should be more like 5-4 or 4-5 instead of 7-2.

6. Victor
Fighting with PJ to claim "unluckiest" team in the league honors.

7. Katy
Classic Katy strikes back, there are at least 2 Asian teams who are glad the Katy Luck factor is going away.

8. PJ
I don't know what else you did to anger the fantasy gods, PJ. Another close, but no cigar game last week.

9. Andrew
Andrew Luck now the leading rookie of the year. Solid 4 keepers but bench is atrocious. So Andrew is bad, but not outrageously bad. Unlike...

10. Hai
Averaging 49.56 points/game. The 3 worst scoring seasons were all from 2001, when we didn't have increased defensive scoring rules. The 3rd worst that year averaged 49.26 points / game. Which probably means Hai is on pace for worst single season performance in the modern era.

MUD Anlaysis
So far, I've been 15-5 in the 4 weeks I've used my MUD ratings. This week has some pretty surprising results.

Tuna (184 MUD points) vs. Victor (128 MUD)
Despite having Packers on their bye, Tuna should roll to a victory over Victor because Victor's players face some difficult matchups. Victor will also probably be victimized by Tampa's offense for the second straight week.

Lily (181 MUD) vs. Katy (128 MUD)
I don't think lightning will hit in the same place, but even if it does, the rest of Katy's matchups look pretty tough, while Lily is at full strength with some attractive matchups for her QB and DST. No upset this week for Katy.

Andrew (147 MUD) vs. Hai (184)
If Hai doesn't score over 60 points with these favorable matchups, then he really deserves to have the worst fantasy season ever. Also, Andrew has a couple of key positions facing the Cowboys D, who are going to outperform since they are facing me this week, of course. Hai in an upset.

PJ (215 MUD) vs. Donny (144)
Do you believe in the universe evening things out? If you do, PJ should handily win this game and reverse his pattern of heartbreaks. But if you think the universe is cruel, chaotic, and capricious, then Donny would win despite logic against the victory. I still believe in some order to the universe, so have to go with PJ here.

Bill (112 MUD) vs. Kevin (206)
The Caucasian division battle-royale of the week. Bill is now in a slightly tight spot this week, as Drew Brees faces a good pass defense for the first time in a while. To make things worse, Kevin's QB faces the league's most generous pass defense not named Redskins., and has an extremely high MUD score. I am calling for the upset and Kevin's win shall make the Caucasian division title an actual race.
