FADUCO Power Rankings Week 3

Here are your explanations for the movers and shakers of the FADUCO League rankings:

1. Bill.  Notre Dame overachieving? Eagles pulling out close victories in the last minutes? Here's God's sign that the apocalypse is not yet upon us: Bill is still dominating the league in the regular season. Last week's performance had minimal statistical variation among all his scorers, all 8 players contributed between 9 and 14. That's something a die-hard Japanese manufacturer like Lexus would kill for. Maybe it's time for Bill to expand to Japan.

2. Tuna. May have lucked into a win despite minimal production from running backs and WRs. However 2-0 is still 2-0. Has a relatively easy schedule with the worst and 3rd worst managers in terms of efficiency up next, right after playing 2 teams with a combined 0-4 record. In other news, the Asian Division is not off to a good start.

3. Andrew. This week's biggest jumper. Do you feel the love now, Andrew? Actually, it was tough deciding who should be the best 1-1 team, and the prospect of another complaint from Andrew was too much to bear. Ok, for the sake of integrity, here are some more reputable reasons for giving Andrew the 3 spot: Brady and Welker combo more active now with Hernandez's injury; Tony Gonzalez is either an ageless Vegan wonder or Lance Armstrong's apprentice, and Eagles this week are going to make sure Kolb regrets leaving them.

4. Donny.  Ranks 4-7 are very closely bunched. Really nice talent on paper, but bad managerial ranking. With Ryan Mathews healthy, he has the deepest Asian team. Also, nice pickup of Bennett to shore up his weak TEs. Poor efficiency may mean trades looming on the horizon if the trend continues. Since Donny was born in Korea and I don't have anything more to say about his team, here's a good spot as any to introduce Gangnam Style to the Non-Internet Dork crowd.

5. Lily.  After having to face Rodgers and Stafford in consecutive games and making them irrelevant, the 49er defense gets Christian Ponder, really licking their chops on that one. This team also has 2 RBs in the top 5 scoring, and while the #2 WR spot has underachieved, WRs this year WRs have had very low variation. The top WR has scored 24 points and the 20th ranking WR has scored 17. Contrast that with RB, where #1 RB has 41 points (more about him later) and #20 RB has 16.

6. Kevin.  Matt Ryan = fantasy MVP. He's given Kevin effectively a 9-10 point advantage at the QB spot. Even while Chris Johnson and the Giants have been duds, it's now a QB league and Kevin has the best one out there. Not all things can be rosy for Omnivores, here's a Washington Post article that says eating rice is bad for you. Consider this my public service post of the week: that you should eat more steak and barbecue.

7. PJ. Last year, only one team went under 50% efficiency a single team. This year, we already have 3. The most surprising one of the 3 was PJ,  because a reasonably healthy quartet of Peterson, McFadden, Fitzgerald, and Johnson is not supposed to give you only 8 points combined.  That's not going to happen again, and Trent Richardson shows he has potential when facing bad defenses.

8. Hai. Quite a gap between the top 7 and bottom 3. Hai hasn't scored over 55 points yet, and most of that has been due to poor managing. Hai's coach rating is a full 10 points below the 9th place team. Also, his best QB is ranked 29 in scoring. Yet, I can't put him in the bottom because he does have a win. Furthermore, something tells me that CJ Spillier, the #1 RB cited above, is going to start this week for Hai.

9. Victor. Not quite jumping off the Peyton bandwagon, but something tells me that RG III is going to start this week against a bad Bengals defense. RBs except for Lynch are a guessing game at this point, and so are a continuing source of frustration. Maybe watching games is jinxing Victor, so he'll probably be hiking here this Sunday. Clean air and a workout may do a body good.

10. Katy. Familiar spot from last year. Yet another toilet bowl to compete in this weekend. Strangely, Team Katy has been very bearish on the Eagles on its roster, which was a good thing in week 1 but hurt them in week 2. Will Team Katy shake things up by starting Vick this week?

Posting an article saying eating rice is bad...isn't that anti-Asian. How can a representative of the Asian div promote an article saying eating rice is bad for you? Hai if we ever restructure the divisions here is an example of Vic displaying Caucasian tendencies. Kevin
