Running backs in FADUCO are still important

True, most NFL teams nowadays employ RBBC's. However, having a good fantasy RB roster is still key for winning games in FADUCO, if this particular statistic is valid for correlation:

Top 10 RBs in fantasy scoring average: ONLY 1 is owned by an owner with a losing record (Frank Gore owned by Victor). The other 9 are owned by Bill, Kevin, PJ, and Katy. Combined record of the 4: 19-9. It's still 9 of 10 are owned by winning teams if you go by the Total RB scoring top ten.

Top 5 QBs in fantasy scoring average: 2 of the 5 are owned by losing owners (Brady and Peyton Manning are owned by Andrew and Victor respectively). And I excluded Alex Smith (owned by Andrew) and Phil Rivers (#6 and owned by Lily) from the survey, the QB numbers would have had even greater percentages of losing owners.

RBBC reduces the fantasy value of RBs. Fantasy points are distributed across more RBs. If you look at the stats there's is only a difference of 9 pts/week average between the #1 and #30 RB. For QBs there is a difference of 14 pts/week average between the #1 and the #30 QB.

Teams that are doing well this year are doing well because they have greater depth at RB and WR positions.
