Ok, it's confession time for me. I kept this a secret except from POD, about my motivation to trade Brett Favre and Selvin Young for Ernest Graham and Chad Pennington. Most people would think Donny gained, or "won" this trade. In terms of fantasy points contributed, that is true. But this trade also serves an example of how it's not always in your best interest to "win" or "screw over" your trading partner. Why? Because I didn't have to face Donny anymore, who was not going to make the playoffs with his 0-6 start, I was actually making myself stronger in relation to playoff contenders not named Tuna. I was hoping a stronger Donny team would take out rival playoff contenders in the second half of the season, which is what exactly happened. In effect, I helped create a second army to fight my wars. Donny deserves most of the credit for his turnaround, picking up Ryan Grant and Greg Jennings, but I also allowed him to avoid having to play QB Roulette. True, I saved my running back roster with Graham, but the key strategic value of the trade was in making my rivals face a stronger opponent, not in making my team directly stronger.
Of course, I do realize all the strategy in the world won't help me against the Patriots Juggernaut facing the Jets and Dolphins during the FADUCO playoffs.

the question is would there still have been a confession if PJ had beat POD...
in any event you are forgiven and for your penance please make public the famous secret web site for the playoffs.
If it wasn't for Donny my team would be stacked at WR right now.
