POD is back with a week 10 FADUCO preview. This is a good time to come back, as a month long of interracial matchups begin this week. I think my predictions have pretty much been spot on, so everyone should pay close attention. Lets get to it kids.
Sparkle Bunnies (5-4) @ POD (1-7)
PJ has the second best team in the white division. Fucking Reggie Bush should have been what Adrian Peterson already is. At this point, I have to conclude that Reggie Bush is nothing more than Warrick Dunn with better catching skills. Anyways, I like PJ's matchups this week. Hasselbeck should toss a minimum of 3 TD's against the hapless Niners. TO, A Pete, and Portis all get at least one score. In fact, I'm thinking TO will have a monster game against the Giants, something like 160 yds and 2 scores. As for me, Favre and Jennings should produce at home against the Vikes, but thats prolly about it. Overrated Reggie is a little banged up. Larry Fitz is a yardage guy this year. I like Brandon Marshall a lot, he's got some major upside that hopefully he can show next year. Call off the hounds, I surrender! This is a fantasy year to forget. PJ takes it to POD 84-59 :-(
Larry (2-7) @ NDFC (2-7)
Completely meaningless matchup here. I would say it could impact draft position for next year but we all know that it really doesn't matter which Cosgrove finishes ahead of the other. NDFC should be ashamed to have the same record as his indifferent cousin. Looks like Larry already set his lineup. Thats pretty early in the week for him to do that so the Cosgrovebowl must have him really pumped up. Too bad for him he's going to lose. Brees should put up ridiculous numbers at home against the Rams. LT gets 2 scores and the Lions force about 4 turnovers against the Cardinals. That should be enough production to defeat Larry's squad of BLEH. Usually to win you need at least one guy to step up and have a great week. Looking at his roster, Larry doesn't have one guy with that kind of potential. He's got a team of supporting cast members, no superstars to speak of. Bill wins 74-60.
Omnivores (7-2) @ Hai (4-5)
Hai needs this one a lot more than Kevin does. There was no way POD would go the entire 2007 campaign winless, unfortunately for Hai that proved to be true last week as POD pulled it out by a measly point. Kevin has a great team, the problem for Kevin in week 10 is that his guys have some tough matchups. First of all his Browns guys play away. Always a tough task for a young QB. But even harder against a defense like Pittsburg. By the way, Anderson and Braylon will certainly be tested in the coming weeks. Out of Cleveland's next 5 games, 4 of them are away. That might worry me. Kevin can think about that when he's up at crazy hours taking care of his kid. This has been a disappointing year for Hai. None of his guys have really panned out, save for Marion Barber and Witten, both of whom should put up good numbers this week. Hai's Wrs should be the difference this week, they have easy matchups and should each put up at least one score. Hai keeps his playoff hopes alive in a narrow 73-70 victory over evil KKK.
Andrew (4-5) @ Vic Guru (6-3)
Yo, Andy! What happened buddy?? You ruined a perfect 4-0 start man! I guess losing happens when you rely too much on one player (Romo) and you begin playing teams other than POD, Larry or early-season Bill. Well, lets see here, can you stop the bleeding this week against our favorite Guru? Hells no! Vic Guru is turning back the clock baby. Say hello again to Priest Holmes. If you told Vic before the season started that he'd be starting Priest Holmes and Justin Fargas in week 10, he'd prolly laugh in your face and tell you to go straight to hell. Yet, here we are in week 10 with LJ and Gore on his bench. Peyton and Priest anchored me to a FADUCO championship, they then were instrumental in helping Vic win a championship. And now this dynamic duo faces a supbar Andrew team on a 5 game losing streak? This is child's play! Vic prevails 80-50.
Katy (6-3) @ Tuna (8-1)
Good lord, are the Fantasy Football Gods women are something? How come good fortune always falls upon the fairest owner in FADUCO? Her opponents always seem to put up poor numbers when they play her. She never seems to have injury issues. She never loses close games. And now she faces the undisputed best team in FADUCO with his best guys Brady and Moss on bye, both of whom are the undisputed best players at their position. Everything always work out for her and I hate her for it! Tuna subs his Pats guys with JP Losman and James Jones. HAHAHHAHAHA. Katy wins 64-55.
