FADUCO WEEK 8 Power Rankings

In case you don't know yet, the Duongs got drubbed in basketball last Sunday. The Le gang defeated us soundly 11-9 and 11-6. However, bets were invalid because they brought a 6'2" ringer to the game. The original bet was supposed to be Donny and I against Hai and the Le gang. Still, this is a wake-up call for me to get in shape. At least everyone liked my turkey tacos afterwards. Anyways, like the NFL, there are really only 2 teams that matter in FADUCO:

The Alpha Dogs
1. Tuna (aka the Patriots of FADUCO): I don't think anyone in FADUCO has ever scored over 100 points three straight weeks. The previous record was probably Bill's run last year where it happened 3 out of 4 weeks, but not consecutively. Tuna will aim for #4 straight this week. We're seeing a historical fantasy run. That's more suspenseful than watching Tuna face a coach who didn't even replace 2 bye week players last week. Which technically may be a fine, but I'm not sure Larry will realize he has to pay. You know the fates are smiling on you when your favorite real life team doesn't face the Pats until Week 17, so Tuna can root for the Giants without conflict as the last remaining hope to prevent the Pats from a 16-0 season.

2. Kevin (aka the Colts of FADUCO): This team is the only one capable of scoring enough points in the playoffs to challenge Tuna. Derek Anderson to Braylon Edwards is now upgraded to the Upper-Middle Class Man's version of Brady to Moss connection. In any other year, Kevin's team makeup would assure him of the finals. Like the Colts, this team likes to play up its image as the "good guy" of the league, but don't let that fool you. Kevin is determined to crush all Asians with the best-balanced Caucasian team in years.

The Contender

3. Katy (aka the Steelers of FADUCO): Plays very good defense. Or something like that, the opponent tends to field very inefficient teams like previous week's Donny.

The Randoms (no team affiliations, these teams are going to be in the playoffs mostly due to luck).

4. PJ: Sorry, bad advice on the trade for PJ, it helped the other two teams but Griese laid an egg against what had been a very poor pass defense. And what's up with losing to an absentee owner's team?

5. Victor: No running back support this year. Traded away Selvin Young as a trade throw-in and looks like he's Denver's starter now.

6. Hai: Not a good year to be All-in with the Bungles.

7. Andrew: Painful tiebreaker loss, but at least he did it with 100% efficiency. The Hollywood QB returns this week at least.

The Poor House (no chance for the playoffs)

8. Bill: At least he won't have to trade up next year.

9. Larry: I think it's kinda a sign he's given up on the season by not subbing in players.

10. Donny: Anything negative I can say about Donny would just be piling on at this time.
