Week 3 FADUCO Rankings

One-liners, not much time today.

1. Katy - Philly schedule still easy, McNabb doesnt rest till week 9.
2. Kevin - Better hope Alex Smith keeps up his improvement.
3. Hai - Mediocre RBs, but Palmer now back on track.
4. Andrew - Hasselback will be throwing more now. Looks like he lucked out when Tuna "stole" Brady from him.
5. Bill - Props for believing in Madden Curse.
6. Tuna - Will be having efficiency problems with QBs and RBs.
7. Victor - No sure #2 RB anymore, may have to play run-and-shoot until DeAngelo starts.
8. Donny - Painful loss as the #2 scorer of the week.
9. PJ - Needs to have George make the starting decisions again.
10. Larry - Boos for not believing in Madden Curse.

Poor Donny. 21-6 breakdown record and 2nd overall in points, but 1-2 record.

My secret website said it is no longer on any Dolphin bandwagon. I've ranked Donny low because of his stubborn attachment to Culpepper.

Donny should start Favre against an injured Philly secondary. Houston will try to make adjustments to their secondary, they won't be embarassed two weeks in a row.

George wouldn't let me drop anyone but I was going to pick up Harrington.

I'm leaving for CA tomorrow morning, so I won't be at Hai's sports bar on Sunday.
Hai can I call you on sun morning to switch my QB if they bench Warner. It will be to your benefit since I'm playing Vic.

Coincidence or not? First 3 top scorers of the week are all regulars of Hai's Bar & Grill.

The curse usually would occur in the season the Madden game comes out. Madden adds one to the season, so a player in the Madden 2007 would actually have the curse on him in 2006. It is not a permanent curse, but the player would have something bad happen to him that season. I would not attribute it as regression to the mean, since these players are all-pros well above the mean. Probably the most "logical" explanation is that EA Sports usually pick running backs and QBs known for their scrambling ability at the time, the two most-easily injured positions. That said, keep on being a skeptic and see where you end up in the fantasy standings.
