Want to know how your college does in the NFL?

Wall Street Journal (PJ can't accuse it of being a leftist commie publication) conducted a survey of how well players from different colleges do in the NFL. Miami actually gets listed as "overrated", scores very high in draft results but lots of injuries have hurt its total score.

Read the print article this morning. My brother was very excited FSU was #1. Gators #2 Florida schools are the farm system for NFL players.

This list is bogus. Maryland belongs in this list. Lamont Jordan, Kris Jenkins, Shawn Merriman, EJ Henderson. And this year, Vernon Davis and D'qwell Jackson join the league.

Yeah, was surprised Maryland didn't make it. Don't forget also Randy Starks (though he's in legal trouble) and Dominique Foxworth. I think what hurts Maryland is that longevity kinda impacts the scoring, and the names you've mentioned have not been in the NFL for long and were not considered "starters". So expect Maryland to make and stay on the list in a few years once their players establish themselves in the NFL for a long career.

Kevin says the only thing that is bogus is anything Hai writes or says. Apparently Vic is the only honest Asian, with Hai by far the most dishonest.

I wouldn't say that everything Hai writes is bogus. I would just say you have to be carefull when interpretting Hai's statements. I have suffered from misinterpretations.

Is it as good as the chick flick foreign film you made us watch at Kevin's apartment the day you lost to me in chess?

Vic,
how do you think Bell's fumble in the Broncos pre-season game will affect his chances at starting? Suggest an article on RB competition in the NFL and who will come out ahead.
Victor Donge said…
Well, there's one less team with a RB competition. By pure chance, it's the 49ers and now Frank Gore is the #1 RB in a Norv Turner offense. Imagine that.

I am drafting Barlow with my first pick.

All four Asians have claimed to pick Donny as the most truthful Asian. Obviously, at least one is lying as there are only 3 votes for Donny in the poll.
