Some noise for ending in week 16

There has been some noise among the Asians to have the FADUCO bowl in week 16 instead of 17. Exhibit A would be this week's final featuring David Carr vs. Kyle Boller. That is a matchup no one would have done in the regular season. What is the Caucasian feedback on shortening the season by one week like most conventional leagues?

I'm in favor of it, week 17 has too many nfl teams not really playing. Takes away some of the meaning of Faduco bowl and makes it more random.

My other league stops in week 16 and makes week 17 a bonus week for all teams, with high scorer getting a small winnings $.
