USC vs Notre Dame part 2 (or at least their proxies)

Could also be called Underachievers Duel Part II

Whoever loses the game between PJ and Bill will be in serious contention for Reggie Bush next season. Bill, I'm sure you have scouted Reggie Bush last week, were you impressed?

My scouting department is not fully sold on Bush. Sure he has the moves, but does have the size and power to be an elite back? I would pick DeAngelo Williams of Memphis before Bush.

I'm not sold on Bush as a NFL back either. If he wins the Heisman it's a lock that he will suck in the NFL.

Tuna is right. Of the Heisman winners since 1990, only Eddie George, Charles Woodson, Ricky Williams, and Carson Palmer have had successful NFL careers. The other Heisman winners became career backups or did not even make the NFL.

Most of those Heisman busts were QBs or Big Ten RBs. Here are some more non-big 10 RBs who have won the Heisman: Barry Sanders, Bo Jackson, Mike Rozier, Marcus Allen, George Rogers, OJ.

Besides, Leinart will probably get the Heisman. I'm actually glad you all are hatin' on Bush. Increases my chances of picking him up.

Donny,

Your trade proposal is pretty unbalanced. Brunell has 96 pts compared to Portis 50-something while Shockey has 53 pts compared to Steven's 35 points.

I am just saving you the embarrassment of having that trade rejected by Nam the commissioner.

I was at the USC/ND game and R. Bush was incredible. He is the best college back I have ever seen. He is small though.
