FADUCO Week 1 Power Rankings

I'm flying out tonight and will have very limited internet access for the next 2 weeks. Which means there will be one weekend where I may be re-using this coming week's roster. Then again, I beat PJ while on a cruise last year. But I'm pretty sure I won't be posting on the blog for the next 2 weeks. Here are this week's rankings. Game of the week is Tuna vs. Justin.

1. Tuna - As expected, crushed the competition by stacking Big Ben with Antonio Brown on a hapless Redskins D which refused to switch their $70M cornerback on Brown.

2. Justin - Continuing my suck-up to the Bear. Actually, Carolina is hosting the 49ers this weekend. If Justin can come almost get 100 points with a Panthers loss last week, imagine the possibilities this week.

3. Kevin - Hey Kevin, my reverse jinx worked for you. Guess the football gods took kindly in your usage of my penguin photo. I used that photo for a review I made . Got 9 thumbs up, 1 thumbs down - (prob Hai or another photo snob).

4. Hai and Vu (Tie)- The two play each other this week. Vu would normally have the slight hedge here but Gronk's playing status is still in question. However, Hai is capping his ceiling by playing Steelers D facing Bengals and having AJ Green.

6. Matt - Strong favorite against Byron. Looks like Matt is confident enough on the matchup that he's benching Aaron Rodgers for the juicy Eli vs. New Orleans Sieves and Dez Bryant due to Dak Prescott conservatism.

7. Donny - Donny's lineup is solid in all positions, but injury questions to Russell Wilson can make long-term success a bit cloudy at this point. Still, he's better by far compared to the bottom three teams.

8. PJ -  Like Kevin, the fantasy football gods smiled on PJ's name change to reflect his new spirit animal. How else can you explain totally lucking out with his oppponent's noob showing and winning despite scoring 2nd lowest? It's the  battle of the spirit animals in Week 2 versus Kevin!

9. Victor - Victor did not like buying into the Redskins hype. Also didn't like how New Orleans didn't run the ball much despite having a big lead, which allowed the Raiders to catch up and make Drew Brees throw for a couple more  TDs. Also, he can't draft TEs worth crap each year.

10. Byron - Welcome to the big leagues Byron. Don't worry, losing week 1 isn't the end of the world. You still have a solid team, but identifying which starters to use will be tough each week since they're so close to each other in terms of projections. You may want to curry some favor with the fantasy football gods by replacing your team name and logo used by the previous owner.

Vic, Nice article. You're being way too kind with a #3 ranking, remember I was ranked last one week ago. My team is not that good, but thanks for the advice on the D. Williams handcuff. I think that is what won me week 1.

Byron read Vic's words and not his ranking. (Vic you can't encourage a person and rank them last.)

Vic, I'll send you the 1st and 10 (that PJ said I promised) tomorrow. I forget how to post so if you don't mind I'll email it to you.
