FADUCO Power Rankings Week 8

Last night, I took my nephew trick-or-treating in his neighborhood. He doesn't like peanut flavor and gets away with not getting any peanut flavor candy by claiming he's allergic to eat. Here is his initial haul, we went out a  second time to another street and so he did get a bit more than what's in this photo:

Based on this sample, I'm ranking each team by my preferred candy. I'm sure you will all disagree with my choices, but hey, you guys wanted me to post something, right?

1. Matt:
Kit Kat

Consensus top 5 choice in all these blogs I see. Despite loss last week, he is still leading the league in W-L and gets Aaron Rodgers back. Combo of Devonta Freeman is Priest Holmes 2.0. Expect a demolition of Lily this week.

2. Hai
Gummy Bears

I like the gelatinous chew and sweet-sour taste of the artificial fruit flavors. Just don't get the sugar-free version. Hai's RBs are a surprise strength, Ivory and Gurley are tracking to be 1st round picks next year. Having Tom Brady and AJ Green gives Hai the best all-around core in the league.

3. Vu
M&Ms

An exception example where marketing over-saturation doesn't mean it is bad. Convenience and practical packaging. Speaking of nice packages, the combo of Lamar Miller and Doug Martin supplements Gronk nicely each week, ever since the Dolphins' coaching change. Note: none of the RBs I've mentioned so far were first round material at the start of the year.

4. Kevin
Hersheys

I think Kevin's wife is originally from central PA, where Hershey's is located. Nothing flashy, but gets the results. When not having Bye week issues, Kevin's team is a complete set of studs except for the #2 RB/ #3 WR spot. He's a tough out but not necessarily will be the  favorite.

5. Justin
Butterfingers

Great taste, but future outlook not good due to all those kids with pesky peanut allergies. Despite second-best record in the league, having 3 starters get hurt for rest of the season is a huge blow on a team without much depth. May as well field an all-Panther lineup at this point.

6. Victor
3 Mustketeers

I like the light and airy taste of the filling, even though it's probably has as much sugar as any other candy. Despite 4-game streak, CBS Sports usually take his team lightly as the underdog. Underrated, like Victor's strategy of starting both Patriot RBs. Whether it is sustainable is another matter. Still has issues at QB, where historically this was a position of strength.

7. PJ
Nestle Crunch

Not bad, but does tend to generate some noise at times. PJ's RBs have been underachieving, though can't say they are busts. PJ is pretty much relying on QB performance. In each of his win so far, his QB has given him more than 20 points. Each of his loss has the QB scoring 20 or less. Can Andy Dalton sustain his top 3 performance for the second half? Or will the Bengals run the ball more as the weather gets colder.

8.  Donny
Snickers

Very plain and generic as far as packaged Halloween candy go. Not that big a fan. Donny's managed to get pretty low variance on his scoring, it's been usually in the 77-88 point range except for 2 sub-par weeks. Now that the Broncos seem to have settled on Hillman and Phil Rivers is passing lights out, expect Donny to field competitive teams each week.

9. Tuna
Twix

I don't remember what Twix tastes like. This team has been pretty forgettable in the past 3 weeks. It's a mystery on their future path, though having Big Ben back can help Tuna play the Pittsburgh passing stack. Tuna continues to have problems in the usually overlooked TE/K/DST slots, however.

10. Lily
Tootsie Roll

When you're desperate to buy candy on the afternoon of Halloween, getting Tootsie Rolls is the result. Artificial chocolate that's also hard wax to boot. This team has so many problems it may make history by going winless. Though a random big game from Matt Ryan may make this feat difficult. Also, as I'm typing this, the Chiefs D is giving her 17 points in England...
