It's a white christmas, with PJ facing Bill and Kevin facing Asian rep Team Katy. Here is my primary forecast scenario.
PJ Vs. Bill (breakdown record is 8-6 in favor of Bill)
QB: Bill has leading MVP candidate Brees facing December chokers. PJ has Mrs. December facing undefeated Saints and Old Man Warner. However, Old Man Warner faces Detroit while Dallas' defense sometimes shows up. Advantage: PJ (Moderate)
RB: Bill has Ray Rice and MJD. PJ has Purple Jesus and Ricky. All 4 are studs facing average run defenses, but Bill's RBs are playing at home while PJ's are on the road. Advantage: Bill (Minor)
WR: Bill has one stud and one hot-and cold WR. (Wayne and Mason). PJ until last week had 2 studs (Fitzgerald and Wes Walker). But PJ's WRs are facing bad defenses (Detroit and Buffalo). Advantage: PJ (Moderate)
TE: Bill's Tony Gonzalez is the bigger name compared to PJ's Brent Celek. But Bill will have to root against an Eagle player here. Advantage: PJ (Minor)
K: Both should score at least 10 points given their matchup. Advantage: Push
DST: Ravens vs Cutler or Saints vs Romo. Both QBs don't exactly have December reputations, though Dallas is more desperate than Chicago right now. Advantage: Bill (Minor)
Intangibles: PJ is in position to come behind since his best player is up last. Also, PJ's investment in Arizona will pay off huge since the Cardinals face Detroit.
Prediction: PJ comes back and squeaks by Bill on account of Purple Jesus's Sunday night blessing. 86 - 84 PJ.
Katy vs. Kevin (breakdown record is 8-6 in favor of Kevin)
Two two-time champions duke it out to see who faces the Championship-less winner of the other semi-final.
QB: Katy's McNabb faces a suddenly alive San Fran defense that dismantled Arizona. However, San Fran is the road team this time and west coast teams not named Chargers usually don't travel well. Houston's Matt Schaub is facing St. Louis, which could be a bad thing despite the attractive matchup since the Texans may put up a huge early lead and run the ball / bench Schaub. Advantage: Katy (Minor)
RB: Katy's Cedric Benson and Thomas Jones are consistent producers, with guaranteed production but with some ceiling. Kevin has the best pair of starting RBs in FADUCO. Chris Johnson is the fantasy MVP. Hot rookie Jamaal Charles vs. Cleveland or proven stud Ladanlian vs. Bengals? Most other teams would love to have that choice. Advantage: Kevin (Major)
WR: Katy's Desean Jackson is arguably the best young WR in the league. However, Katy's #2 WR spot leaves a lot to be desired (Cotchery, Evans, or injured Harvin). Kevin has arguably one of the best overall WR in the league, in addition to the most entertaining player in the league. Advantage: Kevin (Moderate)
TE: Katy's Finley single-handedly delivered a win for her vs. Lily, but will be hard pressed to duplicate that against Pittsburgh's linebackers. Kevin's Witten may have to do more blocking vs. the Saints, so may not be an impact player this week. Advantage: Katy (Minor)
K: Katy's Bironas is limited by his team's offensive potential, Kevin's Kaeding has no such problem. Advantage: Kevin (Minor)
DST: Katy's Eagles could score another 20 points with their big plays. Kevin's Seahawks, while facing the hapless Bucs, aren't in the same league. Advantage: Katy (Moderate)
Intangibles: On paper, Kevin's team is so dominant except for the QB and DST position. He did lose on of those patented "Katy-type heartbreak" games earlier in the season by 1 point. However, Katy doesn't have any Monday night or Sunday night players of note, which I think is big since there won't be any possible late night comeback magic this week.
Prediction: Kevin rolls over Team Katy in a suspense-less 96-63 game.

Comments
PJ
I think the matchups really favor PJ, the denfense that his teams are facing seem considerably easier than the ones I'm facing. PJ is a genius for picking players that align so nicely for the playoffs.
PJ 84-77.
Katy is lucky as fuck.
Katy 64-51.
Bill
I'm rooting for PJ in the final.
you didn't highlight enough how strong the Eagles traditionally are in Dec. They hit their stride in Dec of last year and they are doing it again this year. Eagles will dominate SF and win by at least twenty. Katy edges Omnivores by narrow margin 95 - 87. (But Eagles go on the Superbowl.)
i agree with Tuna, PJ beats Bill. Another season Bill has the highest point total, the football gods spite him again.
